Most will do but large bore tubes with drain or purge valves are more
popular. Don't be afraid to shorten the tube and most prefer to attach to
the cap rather than the mask strap.

A garden glove is fine to start with but you will soon need more protection!
Some will basically tape up a garden glove or custom make one with latex or
