BSAC Dive Show and conference
The BOA have a pod on the BSAC stand at the BSAC Dive show at the NEC Birmingham this weekend 26th and 27th October.
If any-one is at the dive show then come along and say hello.
If you could spare some time to man the pod just telling divers about our sport that would be really appreciated.
If you can spend the whole day promoting our sport then the BOA will give you assistance with expenses.
As part of our affiliation with BSAC we have been given four tickets to the BSAC conference which also give you entry to the dive show . We also have four exhibitors tickets for those who help man our stand.
I will be at the dive show so if you want to take advantage of free tickets you will need to phone me on 07803610595 and I will come out to meet you.
To encourage people to go onto our web site and to look at what our shop has to offer we are offering a free draw for a voucher for £100. Unfortunately this offer is not open to members and close family as you should already be using the web site and the shop. Friends can enter by clicking on the icon on the web site (when not logged in).
Nautilus
Next weekend 2nd and 3rd November is the Nautilus tournament in Sheffield.
We still need referees for the Saturday so if you would like to help then let me know.
The BOA gives assistance with expenses to qualified referees who volunteer for the whole day.
This is an ideal time for trainee referees to get some practise and get the hours you need to qualify to level 1.
We do not give assistance with expenses to trainee referees.

Referees Course Sponsorship
Excel Compressors are currently sponsoring our referees courses, which is currently saving the BOA at least £100 - every time we run a course.
If we can get them some recommendations, this may be extended to cover referees kit. 
Compressors are used in a wide variety of places, from car servicing and MOT stations, to ships, food production and manufacturing of all sorts.
If you use Excel Compressors or just make enquiries please remember to mention the BOA as this could lead to continued sponsorship.
