Great Yarmouth Underwater Hockey (Octopush) Club

Welcome to Great Yarmouth Underwater Hockey Club (was Norwich Pikes Octopush Club). We are now based at the town's new luxury 'Marina Centre' on the seafront - Marine Parade, Great Yarmouth NR30 2ER.  (Free on-site parking for 3hours - car Reg. on reception.)

We play u.w.h. in the 'adjustable depth pool' [Learner-Pool] from 09:30 to 10:30 on alternate Sunday mornings throughout the year, and the dates are posted below. Visiting players and those wishing to 'have a go' are always very welcome.

If you are without fins and mask etc. just bring your swimming gear and we can normally provide the rest.  

If you've never played before, no problem, we'll show you how. Our approach to the game is to have fun for an hour whilst also getting some exercise!

At the Marina Centre's front desk, please enter you car reg. number into the interactive screen, tell them you're with the underwater hockey people and they should just wave you through. Then head for the changing rooms and poolside. Please note that our pool fees are handled by the underwater hockey club, so there's nothing to pay at the front reception desk.

    Sunday Underwater Hockey Sessions: (09:30 to 10:30), Marina Centre, Great Yarmouth.

  Normally these are held on alternate Sunday mornings all year round - except where noted below.

 The next sessions are:

November:-       10th, 24th  Then a three week gap, not the usual two!

December:-        15th, 29th

Year : -   2025

January:-            12th, 26th

February:-            9th, 23rd

March:-                9th, 23rd

April:-                   6th, 20th

etc. ie. every other week/Sunday
